I finally finished my quilt!!! It's been sitting in the back of my closet for two years, so I decided to send it off to be quilted and I put the binding on.

These are our new puppies born yesterday. The females at left and the males at right. Ten puppies! Poor Dot! The kids are so excited and I can barely get them in the house. They each have a favorite already. We decided to give them yummy names: Lollipop, Licorice, Jellybean, Fudge, Butterscotch, Cookie, Brownie, Milkshake, M&M, and Chocolate Chip.

I made these blankets for a Project Linus activity taking place at one of our church buildings last week. Each of the kids had a favorite and I was so tempted to keep most of them. But reason prevailed and I donated them all. I think that Project Linus is something I'd like to get more involved with. They had blanket making "Fun Days" every 3rd Tuesday, so I think that I'll have to go check it out. Also at our activity they had us die some fabric squares for a quilt using shaving cream, paints, and toothpicks. The shaving cream sets the paint so it won't wash out. At any rate, I had fun, I like to sew, and it's nice to feel like I'm doing something to help the community one blanket at a time!

I went to playlist.com so I could have music here and one of the songs I really wanted wasn't on their lists. Grrr! It's Calico Moon by Chris LeDoux. Love that song. I still don't have many new pictures to post. As many of you may know, we've been having problems with our computer, so I use the one at M&D Prince's. I forgot my camera again, although I think I need new batteries anyhow.
Maybe I'll actually remember next time I come over. The children are all getting so big! Kayla has been complaining about how her arms and legs have been sore, so I thought maybe it's growing pains. I took her to the wall and measured her and sure enough! she's grown a half inch since earlier this summer.
Talen is already crawling and Tyrin cought him standing in his crib. He's only 6 months old! Of course he came supersized. He's in 12 month clothing and weighs 24 lbs.

Hello Everybody!
Well, we've finally entered into the wonderful world of blogging. So fasten your seat belts and hold on tight..............because I really have no idea what I'm doing around here. By the way, I'd appreciate reinvites to everyone's blogs, Alicia's is the only one I can get onto.
Tyrin went to a horse how and did all right. If you'd like to see avideo of it, Tamara is going to post it onto her blog, because I know next to nothing about blogging. Kids are back in school, which is nice during the day, but once they get home, they tend to make up for those hours in just 5 minutes. Our dryer is having problems, so I'm at Mom's today doing laundry and playing on the computer. Which is probably the reason I'm doing this now, boredom.
